As well as being an Independent Financial Adviser, Ashley is also Company Director of JEM Financial Planning Limited.  Having worked with us since our authorisation in 2010 he subsequently joined us on a permanent full-time basis in 2013.  This was initially to assist us through the final stages of the Retail Distribution Review and from this he soon became an integral part of the team.

With approaching thirty years experience in Financial Services, Ashley has brought with him a wealth of technical knowledge that has been gained through his previous Compliance, training, customer support and Supervisory roles.  Ashley is qualified to Diploma level in both Financial Services and Mortgages making him perfectly places to both give advice to our clients and also to manage our own internal and ongoing Training and Competence requirements.  Holding additional qualifications in both Long Term Care Insurance and Group Risk has allowed Ashley to expand JEM Financial Planning Limited’s areas of business. In 2023 Ashley also achieved the Certificate in ESG Investing through the CFA Institute.

Ashley originally hails from Solihull and now enjoys life in Broadway with his wife Clarissa, having now spent over twenty years in the Cotswolds.  It is however very clear that the links to his roots in the Midlands and in particular the Blue side of Birmingham are never far from the surface.
